Public Notice: New Temporary Pistol Permit Applicants
In order to ensure greater efficiency and a higher level of service, the New London Police Department will implement a change in the submission portion of the Department’s current pistol permit process. This change will become effective Wednesday, August 5, 2020.
New temporary pistol permit applications will only be accepted for submission on Wednesdays and Fridays between 10am and 3pm at the New London Police Department (except on holidays).

All burglar alarms are now required to be registered with the city. Click here to learn more and register your alarm.
Effective September 1, 2020, all structures equipped with a monitored alarm system (residences, commercial buildings, churches, schools, etc.) are required to have their alarm systems registered with the City pursuant to New London’s alarm ordinance 06-03-19-01.
